so its wired to factory plugs all

i get it to light up the source button blue but then a sec later it turns to a lighter blue then flickers slowly kindalike it doesn't have enough power!

is it beucase my alternator is going?not enought power?or is the deck dead?

i bought it 2nd hand thats why im stumped if its really broken or power problem

     Since your radio draws about 1/4 amp of current at idle and only takes acouple amps max to turn on  it is highly unlikely that your alternator is your problem.

     You need to get a volt meter and check the voltage on the Red and Yellow wires of your radio.
