Be careful purchasing equipment online. Sure you may save a few bucks initially, but you may find yourself with a headache later. You may find that you don't have a warranty, and if you do have a problem, then you don't have someone you can speak to in person. And you may have to pay for shipping to solve the problem. And that's assuming you receive brand new product. You also don't have the ability to audition the speakers before you purchase them. This is very critical with speakers as they are the weakest link in any system, and they all sound different. You may end up with speakers you don't like the sound of.

I feel like a broken record for saying this but everyone needs to know. There are absolutely NO authorized online focal retailers. you need to purchase them from your local authorized dealer or through focal directly. here are a couple links for you to take a look at. the first one is a focal dealer locator. the second is a better explination as to why you need to go through an authorized dealer. There are way too many focal fakes out there. they look similar but are just plain fakes and dont sound anything like a true focal.

good point killa, the thing is i dont care much for warrentys and such, its been a looong time since i've had a product that is bad and i was able to just make a phone call, send it in, and i got a replacement right away, instead its wait on hold forever, told that its not covered (now days it seems as if everything is not covered and even if it was covered the company will wezell its way out of having to cover that product...but thank you for bring ing up the fake focal point, i am kind of surprised that there is a market for fake speakers now, just goes to say how well and popluar the focals are if there are people out there making a bootleg copy.....im glad you told me about the fakes now im leaning more towards a set of cdt's, do they make fake cdt's on woofersect.com?   rae there any websites i can look for good stuff at?

And that's exactly the headache you could have if your purchase online. However for most brands that are purchased at a local dealer, the dealer takes care of all that for you. And because they usually spend a lot of money with that manufacturer, they have more influence to get things done faster.
Focal is a perfect example of what I was talking about. I personally have yet to hear a set of Focal speakers I like. IMO they are all harsh in the upper frequencies, and lack midbass.
