Does anyone know where I can get a Pioneer v1.2 west version for a decent price.  I've looked on ebay and cannot find any (The 1.2 is blue) just the purple and gold dics.   I would appreciate some help with this.  I have tried to burn a copy from my buddy but I cant seem to do it.  Are these dvds encoded so you cant burn them or is there something im missing?  I tried using the double-layered dvds and it still wont burn.  Basically my question is what are my options?  Thank you

I purchased an AVIC-D1 (BLUE V 1.2)  East & West set on E-Bay a while ago and then upgraded to an AVIC D2 before opening the 2 sealed packages.   So, I have both, available.    Please feel free to contact me directly if you want one or both.  I'm open to reasonable negotiation.

If anyone can answer this question I would greatly appreciate it.  I found a yellow V1.2 disc on ebay, I was wondering if it is the same as the blue V1.2 if it would work (because my unit has used the blue 1.2 disc) but I can get the yellow one for cheap.  Any thoughts?

As I understand it, the Yellow Disk is for the N1 and N2 and not the D1/D2 units.   You can find out which one you need by going to www.pioneerelectronics.com and searching in PARTS for the update disk.   If they don't show the yellow for your system DO NOT buy it.  You will simply have an unusable disk.
