proper method for connecting power wire?

I'm installing two Kicker KX400.1 amps in my car and I'm curious about the proper method for connecting the power wires into the amps. The wire I have is 4 gauge, and it doesn't seem like it would fit directly into the power terminal on the amp very well. I could probably make it fit, but I'm afraid the power wire could accidentally come into contact with the remote or ground wires if I do it that way. Is there an accepted standard for some kind of crimp connector that could be attached to the power wire which would then fit in the screw terminal on the amp? I've checked at Lowes and Radio Shack without much luck. Best Buy has some ring terminals, but they're too big to fit into the amp and would need to be cut/filed down to work. Check out the Tsunami page. Most Tsunami products can be ordered fairly quicly through you local Circuit City store. Getting items from overseas is hardly worth the effort, by the time you pay all the freight and duties (if applicable). Also, whenever I buy ring terminals, I buy one wire gauge smaller than I need (i.e. for a #4 wire, I'll buy #6 connectors). The wires WILL fit, and they crimp a bit tighter, and have a more aesthetic appearance afterwards. This will also allow you to solder easier without crimping first, the wire will hold itself in the connector just by virtue of it being tight(ish) in the connector already.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Thanks, at least I know I'm on the right track. I found some of the things I linked on eBay for about $8 after shipping. I'm sure Circuit City will probably want to charge about $15 plus a special order fee for the same thing!
