i have 3 1200watt kenwoods goin off a 1600 watt brutus. when i turn the radio up, it seems like the speakers are fightin for power. i took my 400watt power acustic out thinkin that was it but it wasnt. im wounderin could it be the battery? i have 2 1.2 frad bass caps in the back, and when the bass drop it seems to be around 10.5-11.5 volts. or could it be that the crossover is set to high or is the amp set. i still dont understand what the phase control and the subsonic filter is for. but what i really want to know is what can i do so my speakers a clear and playin rite

if the voltage drops to around 10-11 volts than you are having serious electrical problems...I would disconnect the amp first and upgrade your big three...and start looking for a new high output alternator.
10-11 volts is pretty low as your battery usually sits around 12.5-12.8 volts.
My opinion...you should have researched your own vehicle and upgraded the electrical to handle the sound systems current demands.
Keep bumping with that low of voltage drops than you will have a fried amp soon and a dead battery

Hifonics?  I seriously doubt that thing is making 1600 watts.  Still, I'm sure its enough to give you some voltage headaches.  If that's your only amp I really don't think you need a high output alternator.

Read that sticky at the top of the forum "how to upgrade your big 3" or whatever.

This is an impossibly vague description.  This means nothing.

Again, given your description of your issue "seems like speakers are fighting for power" there is actually no way to even begin to figure out your problem.
