Hey all,
I'm new to car audio stuff and had a couple questions on what box to buy.
I have a pioneer headunit, with a audiobahn 800W RMS amp @ 4ohms. The subs are 2 Kicker 12" CVR124s.
So far I've heard that I should be looking for something 3/4" MDF and sealed, for these speakers. Next I heard that I should probably go with 1.5 cuft/chamber for the box. Does this sound right? Thanks in advance

On the box where the speakers come in should give you recommend air space for a sealed box. You can also get online and do a search with that model name and you'll get the specs. I personally would go with your friend said. 3/4 MDF and sealed. 1 & 1/2 cu feet sounds right per sub for kicker. You might want to consider upgrading amps. Find out if your kickers can do 1 ohm and fit the amp with that. or just keep them at 2 ohms and bridge that amp you have (if bridgable)
"dont ground out!"
