Just purchased an iSimple iPod interface for the Trailblazer. It is a base model Trailblazer...no Bose, no CD changer...nothing. I have managed to get the system all the way out and have the interface connected to the factory system. I have it showing a charge on my iPod but no ability to play it through the radio. The CD Aux button has no function still, and it is not working with the band button. It states I might have to plug into a CD Changer cable, but like I said, that option is not on this vehicle. I am sure the cables were still run, but no idea where to actually find them, or which ones I am looking for. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

If your iPod adater is used via a changer cable input...it will be directly in the back of the radio.

What iPod adapter did you use?

For those interested, finally got it working. Contacted the manufacturer and was informed of an error in the 'dipswitch' configuration for my specific stereo. Online the apps guide shows 1, 3, and 8 on or 2, 3, and 8 on. With a basic factory stereo without XM or CD changer it has to be set 2, 3, and 8 on. Then the iPod can be controlled via factory stereo. You will access the iPod by pressing the 'band' button and XM1 should be displayed, if connected properly. Hope this helps out some other folks too.
