I have a 03 S-10. I installed a crimestopper RS-900. After remote starting and then inserting the ign key and turning to on, the security light comes on. I powered the pcm white wire. I made my own bypass module from a relay(no diode) and resistors, I trigger it from the ign 2 ground wire for the bypass circut. Everything seems fine except for the light coming on. I shut the car off and restart it with the key and its OK. Is the relay getting a spike when I turn the key on?

Get yerself a relay. ground pin 30, tie together 87 and 85 and take this to your ground while running BEFORE (in front of) your bypass.

You will trigger this relay (pin 86) with the pink ign. from the trucks harness. In line with this trigger wire you will need a diode. Cathode TOWARDS the relay.

Thanks! I'll give that a try! Would a diode across the coil of the relay help any?

I have a 03 S-10 pickup. After ianstalling a remote start the factory alarm goes off whenever you unlock the doors with the remote start remote. Any ideas? Thanks

Light green drivers kick, trigger (NEG)- with your disarm, or pulse before remote start.
