I just installed commando power door locks on my 2-door nissan pickup.  It's supposed to be a central locking system (lock/unlock one door, the other automatically locks/unlocks) and it works fine when locking, but when I unlock one door, the other door does nothing.  They both lock/unlock when I send a negative impulse to the extra wires that are supposed to go to an alarm.  Anybody know what I can do to fix this?  Thanks

You need to physically adjust the position of the rod connected to the actuator in the driver's door so that the internal switch is activated in both directions when you manually lock and unlock it.

BTW, I'm assuming all 5 wires going to the driver's actuator are connected.

If all five wires are connected and the door locks only respond in one direction, it sounds like you have a bad actuator in the driver's door.

Well, if that were the case, shouldn't it still work for unlocking when i unlock the passenger side, since they both have 5 wires?

I see, only works from either when you lock and not unlock , and works fine in both directions when you use a negative trigger. I'd take the cover off the relays if possible and look for a bad connection going to the coil of the unlock relay coming from the main harness that connects to both actuators. Sounds like that's where the problem is.

ok, here's the deal............i took the cover off the module and on the back of the green board there's a flat piece of copper that's, for some reason, come apart and it leads to the pin that plugs into the unlock wire........now my question is, how do i fix it?  seems like soldering is my only option..........any suggestions?
