door lock relays just buzz

Hello, My first post - let me say I have gotten a lot of great info from this site - thanks to everyone who contributes! I recently installed a remote start/alarm/keyless entry-combo and got all of the features, except for the door locks, to work on the first try. I used the 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks diagram to connect it up. On the first try, the (un)lock functions from the alarm and the interior (un)lock buttons were reversed - I obviously messed up somewhere, so I removed all the connections from the relays and put them back as shown above. I replaced them and verified the connections, only to have the relay make a nasty buzzing noise when the alarm triggers go, like the coil is freaking out. I tested the relay by removing everything except the (+) wires and alarm trigger (-) wires and the relay goes back to normal clicking. When I reconnect the door lock wires, the interior lock buttons work fine, but I'm back to the freaking out of the relays and my CEL amd random dash lights illuminating when the alarm triggers kick in. Any ideas? I'm getting kind of bleary-eyed but to my thinking, the fact that it functioned at all, albeit unlocking when it should have locked and vice versa, means that there should be a way this would work properly. did you test your door lock wires to be sure that they are reverse polarity and not (-)trigger,I seen that explorers that came with keyless entry have (-)trigger locks.

Just checked with diretechs, the last poster is correct in that if the vehicle originally had factory keyless entry, your door lock colours will be the same but they are neg switching, if not go the extra yard and  5 wire (which is actually relay interrupt) connect to the motor leads coming from the DRIVER'S door  motor.

LOCK	Pink / YELLOW	In driver's kickpanel	Rev Pol
If vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, the doorlocks are negative trigger.
UNLOCK	Pink/green	In driver's kickpanel	Rev Pol
If vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, the doorlocks are negative trigger.
