I want to put in an autopage alarm keyless entry system myself.  I've found a lot of wire diagrams but some good instructions and pictures would be nice.  Can anyone help.  I've done a lot searching and haven't found any diy.

You are not going to find much anywhere as far as detailed instructions or pictures anywhere. I mean I have typed out a couple of pages before for someone when I just wanted to kill time, but that didn;t even help him. You really need to just sit down at a table with all of your tools and your alarm, and your vehicles wire diagram and prep the wire harnesses by cutting the wires you wont use shorter and taping the ends off, and grouping wires with cable ties that go to similar locations etc. Just think this thing through out in your head and then if you cant figure something out, post the specific question here. Solder your connections and tape them up really good. Dont touch 12v constant wires to metal and get something soft to kneel on. 01 Civic LX Keyless and alarm Help -- posted image.

Here is the wire information. If I were yu I would have a professional install the alarm in this vehicle. The door trigger wiring is kinda complicated if you are a novice. If you look there are three different trigger wires for each door. They all have to be diode isolated from each other. But besides that everything else is pretty simple. Prepare you wire harness in advance with electrical tape. Route your constant, ignition and starter kill wires toward the ignition harness. Route your lock wires, door trigger wires, trunk trigger wires toward the driver kick panel. Mount your led and your valet in a nice location. Make sure you make quality connections that is the key for a trouble free installation. Any other questions just e-mail me at crhbxny@msn.com
