i have a 1998 grand prix and i installed a viper 571xv. There is one thing though that i couldn't seem to figure out... whenever i disable the remote start from working via the key fob, the radio stays on until the door is open. is there a way to wire the radio so that it does not stay running when the remote start is deactivated?? thanks in advanced for any ideas

Even if you don't open the door the stereo will turn off by itself after about 10 to 15 minutes.  If you are still concerned, you can trigger the dome light supervision upon deactivation to turn off the RPS.

Pulse your door pin wire with a "pulse after" runtime, OR factory arm output from your alarm.
