Hey everyone, I'm doing a remote start on my 1997 Land Rover Range Rover 4.0SE and cannot seem to figure out as to why when i hook up the started wire and i remote start it, it keeps starting the car even when it already started. also there are two wires that start the car when i give ground to "the starter wire" and then i give ground to the ignition wire. for some reason both wire start the engine over. any one know how i can finish this remote start project would be great? thanks

The starting over and over thing could be caused by lack of a tachometer wire.   Following is a list of the remote start wires for your vehicle.  Look over the list and check against what you have.

I have all the same wires and am hooking them up the same way. but still don't get whey the ignition and the starter wire both start the engine, but they keep starting the engine even after it has started. basicly i can remote start this car with only one wire and i don't need anything else, thats weard and i don't get it. ...
