99 NBS Silverado.  The remote start, lock, and alarm work great from the vehicle aspect.  But when the remote is supposed to page back, the remote gives the "out of range" beep.  I have tried new batteries, and blowing out the dirt and dust from the remote.  Is this a bad remote?

jonnyangle,

I have just installed my remote start with security system to my mitsubishi galant 04. Try to remote start your vehicle inside your car, if it went good it might be the location of your transceiver affecting this error. Try to relocate it where from outside the car it can't be seen (so other people can't see it) mine, i've put it on top of the rear view mirror (glass windshield).

Hope this helps!
