I am attempting to fix another installers issue for him. He put a viper 5701 into a 05 mustang manual transmission. everything works except the r/s shuts down after about 2 mins. anyone see the same issue? or heard and know the fix?

Thanks!

Voltage or tach sensing. One or the other is dropping enough in that time and the remote start is seeing it as the vehicle stalling out.
If it's currently got a tach wire run, try changing the location(i.e. if it's on an injector move it to a coil or vice versa).
If voltage, try adjusting the voltage threshold or running a tach wire.
