Hey guys thanks in advance but heres the skinny on what i have:

2006 super duty with keyless entry...... viper 771xv remote start etc....... i have the DEI 451m and thats what i have problems with

1. I hooked up 451m as follows

I cut the pink with white wire in drivers kick panel that showed +polarity with door lock and the black with white.

The voilet/blck went to 12 constant which is 87 on 451M

gr/bl lock output (30) i connected to the side of the black wire that showed 12v when the switch was closed (blck/white going up the harness towards door)

wh/blck (87a) i connected to the other side of the cut blc/white

blu/blck unlock output (30) went to pink/white that showed power when switch was closed (wire headed up harness towards door)

br/blck unlock output (87a) went to the other side of pink/white

2. When i push lock (or unlock) i have polarity coming out of 451m as i should have on both 30's but the doors do not lock or unlock

3. Even if i power probe the wires that show polarity when the lock button on the vehicle is closed the locks dont open or close either.

4. When i use viper keyless fob i feel the contacts inside switching so i feel that up to there i am good with my wiring as i have 12v on both 30's when its called for.

What step did i skip? i followed the directions to a T but maybe there is something else i am missing? Do i need to bypass these connections and go straight to the door actuator?

If the truck has factory keyless, then the BLACK/ white, and WHITE/ red are (-) doorlock wires. You do not need to cut these 2 wires. On the 451 m, the violet/ black goes to ground, not 12 volts. 30 GREEN/ black will go to the BLACK/ white of the truck. 30 blue/black will go to the WHITE/ red of the truck.
