well i guys this is my first post and i need help. i'm installing a remote start on a 2001 camry 4 cyl. the remote start is a ultra start, and the bypass is a omega. I have everything ran for the remote start and it seems to work right. The car cranks but no fuel pump activation. I'm starting to wire the bypass, and i'm really confused on what needs to happen, and locating wires. i have the glove box off to expose the ECM. Could anyone give me some help on what wire goes where, and things of this nature?

tough to say without knowing the exact model of bypass you are trying to hook up..... the bypass modules i use do not require you to go to the ECM at all.....

well if the car is cranking but not starting, i would think i would not need the bypass. and when the car is started there are no security lights that come on. Also the key used to start it is just a bare metal key no chip or anything.

then you don't need a bypass module at all.... if the head of the key is bare metal and the car starts and runs fine obviously there is no chip in the key....

sounds like you failed to power the 2nd Ign wire.....

I will second that. 2001 Camry i think only needs a bypass for V6 models. You have something else wrong...
