Hi,

I'm installing a DEI 712t in my 92 Mustang and the only wiring I'm not 100% sure of is the Dome light supervision.  I know it is a positive circuit system, so the input to the brain (on-board relay) will be a fused 12v+.  Then the output is supposed to go to the dome light circuit.

So my question is where do I find the dome light circuit.  I'm assuming that the door pin switch is not carrying the live wire for the dome light, is it?  If so I would just connect to that, but I'm assuming that is just a low amp circuit that runs to a relay to turn on the dome light.  I would then need to find that relay and connect to the 12v+ output of that relay.

Thanks!

on that car you can use the door pin wire. it is a positive trigger wire. BLACK/ light blue in the drivers kick panel. or another option is to just pick up the wire at the dome light itself. the kick panel wire is easier.
