I have a Concept 600 and I have the Wizard Pro software/lead. I'm 99% certain I remember the Valet code (but the car has been off the road for ages, so hence not being 100%), but when I plug the Wizard in it see's the alarm, but looks like it wants me to change the Valet code. A window comes up with 'Current Code', 'New Code' and 'Confirm', but the Current Code box has 'XXXX' in it and it won't let me enter anything in there. It doesn't matter what I put in the New Code box, whether its the old code or any other 4-digit number it says that its the wrong Valet code and it software closes. I'm sure its not an issue with not knowing the code, since it won't let me enter anything in the Current Code box. I get the feeling that the code that is has somehow pre-entered is wrong?

The alarm appears to work fine so far (although I still cannot start the car as the engine is not yet complete), but it arms/disarms/locks/unlocks OK. I just want to access it for proper testing etc, as I have Intellistart, Intellivoice, Smart Windows on the system too.

I appreciate that there may be a reluctance to post the solution (if there is one) publically,  In that case, please feel free to Private message me or use the email address on my profile.

Thanks in advance.

Christian.

It could have gone to default, 1111 but please throw away the Wiz or find an old computor running Win 98 SE OR version 1,1 Wizard software, G5 (Version2.2) won't read G4 Cat 1 alarms properly

Could it be this Wizard thats causing the problems??!! I suppose I should try an older version.

What I find strange is that it won't let me edit the 'Current Code' box, only the 'New Code' box!

Thanks.

So enter a new code and see what happens.
