Any luck getting wiring detail for an '08 Fusion SE, V6 if it matters.  I see we have 06 and 07, I'm curious if there may be any difference with the 08.

I have a remote start that I am contemplating installing.  And also curious if the knowledge is available to program the Code Alarm remotes to unlock/lock/turnk my Fusion as well....This would be really cool if so.

Thanks!

I believe it is the same car. Very easy install. Don't know aht you mean by "program" the Code remotes? If you buy a unit that does keyless than you wire the locks to it...

Gotcha, thanks for the response.  I guess when I get some time I'll try to take a look and see if its something I really want to tackle.  As for the keys, you are right, and I don't know what I was thinking when I asked...Although I'd really like to just have my one Ford key, since its got all the buttons on it, but I guess that may not be an option since there would be no start function on it.

Thanks!

there are kits that you can use say the lock button on your factory fob to control the starting function of the remote starter i know the avital 4103 made by dei does as ive used it a bunch of times the only problem is the factory fobs have a limited range   i install the ford add on systems made by code alarm they have a small 1 button remote thats added to your key ring   all you need is lock , parking lights , door ajar input ,brake and ground all can be found in the kick panel in that car   the ingition harness is plug and play and the horn wire is right there in the column the ford kit comes with the pats bypass no key module the only thing with the ford kits is they dont come with instructions    i have everything needed to program/install them if you decide to go that root
If i Can't Install it    I Don't need it   Joe
