Dei sent me a replacement module for my Valet 551R remote starter which included a new transmitter.Is there a way to program my old transmitter to control the new unit??

Yeah...it should tell you in the installation manual. I can't remember the process off the top of my head. if it doesn't say in the install manual...post and I'll send you a .PDF of the install manual...or tell you on here..which ever is eassier...and it's in the install manual, not the owners manual...
