I'm looking to upgrade my alarm system to one that has a remote start. I have a DEI Rattler installed right now, it was install when I got the car so I don't know if its a 300 or a 250. I was just wondering if there were any out there that I could get that would use the already installed adapter or would I have to rewire everything? I know I will have to wire up the remote start, just wanted to know if I could unplug my rattler and plug in the new one then wire up the remote start and have everything work?
Thanks

If your upgrading just to add remote start, and no other reason...There are some add-on remote starts that you could use...activates remote start from a channel on alarm...like trunk...or the asterik...im not familiar w/ that alarm, but im sure it has at least one channel you could use to activate add-on r/s.
