im about to start a remote start in a jag xj8. techsofe says it has negative for start,ignition and acc. any pointers before i start. thanks

Go to an Authorized dealer if you have no previous 12volt remote start experience. This is a difficult car to remote start. You have to change the polarity with relays in each wire
