First see why your keyless entry doesn't work, fuses/ diagnostic reset etc?  Walk before you can run.

Can you make reliable high current splices in a car?  Can you use a volt meter?  Can you read and follow instructions?

If you can do those three things then a remote start shouldn't be too difficult, especially with the info provided above.  Just remember to double check EVERY wire listed above because sometimes there are multiple wires of the same color or the info provided can be wrong.

thanks for the advice everyone, and the keyless entry does not work because when you unhoook the battery you have to go to a gm dealer and have them reprogram it

There you go  tommy, right again ref. diagnostic reset.  Question; what's a Grand Am?  Come to think of it, what's a Pontiac?  Tend to think of them as US versions of Vauxhall/Opel made in Korea by Daewoo!
