heated mirrors for a 2005 f-150
just wanting to know the wire color and if it just a pulse or latched neg

looks like there is going to be a Dark GREEN/ violet you could also use BROWN / lt blue (this is the Rear Defrost wire) if you have it the mirrors pigtail off of that wire
both wires are at the CJB
your probey going to need a relay depending on what system you are using both those wires are positive and should be high current
or there is a orange / YELLOW that comes from the cluster to the CJB that controls the relay that one should be negative but test first to make sure     not sure if its pulsed or latched test that to find out   i would look for this one first

So it the same wire as the defroster wire behind the switch

yes the orange / YELLOW wire controls the rear defrost relay which controls the rear defrost and heated mirror grids

could not find a orange / YELLOW behind the switch
found a BROWN / yellow and a green yellow
i allow saw a WHITE/ orange that i used on a 2008 super duty for the heated mirrors

sorry i should have said the wire is at the CJB pin 22 in a black 24 pin connector or at the cluster pin 6 of the black 18 pin connector
there looks to be a dark blue/orange at the switch   its labeled defrost request   you could test that wire should be ground control
the dark blue/orange goes from the eatc head to the cluster then from the cluster goes the orange / YELLOW to control the relay
