I installed a 5901 in my silverado the other day, and i installed an external shock snesor as wells as glass sensor. The external shock senor is in the bed and when it is plugged in the alarm tells me it is bypassing the shock sensor. any reason to this would occur? When the external sensor is unplugged the onboard brain shock sensor works fine (just not for the bed).

thanks

Did you isolate the two sensors with diodes?

I got the sensors to work together. I unplugged the glass break and did the shock sensor first, then the glass and all is well.
Thanks
