I just bought a Karmann Ghia with an Alpine 8122 security system installed in it. I need a wiring diagram and/or an installation manual for the 8122 to better understand and troubleshoot the installation. This looks like a no-holds-barred install complete with shock sensors, tilt sensor, auto-page, electric door locks and hood/trunk releases, reed switches on the convertable top, starter disable, and who knows what else. Problem is, not everything works and there are several unidentified switches.

Does anybody here know where I can find an installation guide and/or a wiring diagram for this system?

Not that it matters, but the car is a 1967 VW Karmann Ghia convertible by VIN number, although the body is apparently a '73 or '74. The electrical system is not at all stock.
