I have to install an viper 5901 in a 2003 evo....Does anyone know if the key is chipped and or have current teck notes for this car. I cant check the car because its not in New York right now and im trying to be as prepared as possible to do this install when the car arrives Saturday. thanx in advance for the help!!!

2 definite ways to find out:-
1) Remove cowling and see if ignition switch has a plastic antenna around it.
2) Remove ignition keys to at least 5ft from car, wait 5 mins. then attempt a hot wire.

I know but my problem is the car isnt around right now so I'm tryin to find out ahead of time.

no bypass module needed for this car. you can keep a 556u on hand incase you do need it.

heres an 03 evo wiring diagram.
