I downloaded the install guide from this site and read it over real good.  I am looking to program the ignition controlled doorlocks to OFF.  It is feature 18 but when I use the valet switch and watch the led flashes it wont go past 14.  I tried programming the activation pulses and that worked out alright.  I was just wondering if there was an alternative menu or maybe someone knows something else that is going on.  I tried starting from the ignition on and off then pressing 18 times followed by the next press and hold.  No blinks on the led resulted.  I tried ignition on then off and pressing the valet switch 10 times and then pressing and holding to access feature 10 which worked then I tried to advance from there with 8 presses and then 1 press and hold, Nothing happend after that.  Is there another manual or a short version of the programming options.  there is not even a bitwriter port on this thing.  The only port not being used it the 4 pin auxilliary remote start harness.  I am open to ideas.  Thanks

If the date code is is around 2003 era...        You can try positions 13 and 14 on that module.  They changed the # of positions for programming on that model# over the years.  .  If you dont want to try 13&14, get me the date code off the back of the module, and exact model#, and I'll look it up in my manual archive.

If the unit's date code is around 1999... try position 10.

Theres only one position for it back then,   no seperate lock - unlock.  It's either on or off.

Thanks for the reply, I knew there had to be a difference in the date code.  I don't have it in front of me but I know for sure it was a 2003 and it was either october or november.  I tried direct techs but the only manual that came up was for 2005 which is the one uploaded to this site.  I understand typically the manual might be copyrighted older than the unit but not necessarily newer than the r/s.  I really appreciate your time.  Thanks
