put a autostart in a 2001 pontiac sunfire with a idatalink bypass module. car starts with autostart and runs great but the service engine soon light comes on along with the security one and stays on even after you put the key in the ignition and touch the brake to kill the autostart

Make sure you powered up all the ignition and Accessory wires and see if the light goes out...Lets get a little more specific with model #'s...!

autostart model as1775

idatalink module ADSL-DL GM1

all wiring diagrams from autostart and bulldog security are not showing a second ignition wire but i am thinking there might be one

Sometimes the WHITE 2nd ignition is not as thick as the other wires...Should have power when the key is on and cranking...!
