While testing for the door trigger on my 01 sub outback I accidentally applied 12v to pink/black wire on white plug behind fuse box with my power probe III.  Now the dome lights do not come on when passenger doors are opened.  When the rear hatch is opened the do and the door open indicators on IP work.  That wire had about 4.5v before I applied batt power to it, now it has batt power at all time.  The dom light still comes on when unlocked with factory remote.  Any ideas on how to fix?

How violent was the spark when you applied 12V?  Do all 4 doors not work now?  How many doors were open when you applied the 12V?

Audiovox does not list individual door trigger wires.  Does anybody know where the individual triggers can be found in a common location?

there was no spark, both left hand doors were open,  the door switches trigger the door warning light on the IP but not the courtesy lights.

Check out the dome light bulb or the wiring to it. They don't have individual switching, you can pick up ALL door triggers at any switch or switched dome light feed or the IP warning light.
A) NEVER use a power probe for this kind of work.
B) You've probably mullered the timer unit in the control box using that bloody probe.
Check the matter ant-matter converters.

"Check out the dome light bulb or the wiring to it."

In my original post i stated that the dome light still works when the rear hatch is opened and when unlocked with factory remote.  I think that I need a new IP cluster because there are many resistors and diodes built in to it that control warning lights and the door switch ground for the dome light is applied through it, though the warning light have their own ground.

I believe I blew the four diodes for the passenger doors.
