Good morning all,
I am attempting to install a Viper 5701 into the wives 2002 escape, I removed an old remote starter as when we bought the vehicle they never provided us the remotes, and of course I didn't know it existed until I was buried under the dash.
I'm at the point of hooking up the 555sw again. I never removed the pill section at the key cylinder, but I have a red wire and a blue wire coming off the 555sw. They had a relay in play that has a side to ground and another side of the relay to the key sense wire. So I know I need to provide 12v constant to the relay, but to what terminal? To what terminal does the red lead from the 555sw attach?
I have heard of a document that details these instructions, but have yet to find it onnthe web. Does anyone have a copy of this magical directfax document #1079?
Thanks in advance,
Gabe

Don't use a 555SW they are often trouble, use a 556UW instead.
