I am trying to install DirectStart 324 for Nissan Maxima 1995. Ignition, Starter 1, Starter 2, and all other wires are hooked up. Tach wire to fuel injector (uncommon color wire) and do the Tach programming… but no luck, engine has never started or cranked with remote.
Does anyone know what the problem it might be?
Should I tab tach wire to tach sensor instead of fuel injector? If so how do I locate this sensor wire?
Thank for your time

try the tach sensor also you can email me personally including a copy of the diagram. for r/s and what you should also check is two things make sure your brake wire from remote start is hooked up to cold side of brake. and also make sure your negative hood pin trigger is not getting ground its simple to test the plug that plug into the brain of r/s test all the wires and make sure they have the right connections constant; brake etc. also you can try before anything putting your key in the ignition cylinder dont turn it just stick it in. if it starts than you need something equivalent to a 555u from dei. and another spare coded key . but change the tach from injector to a coil. an injector is supposed to be the last bet.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Thanks a lot Jon, I have done what you told: tested for hood trigger, brake and key at ignition cylinder, they’re all good but still no luck. The problem must be at the Tach sensor. I was told tach wire (WHITE/ green) located at ECM in front of the console, still can’t find it. Usually on the side of distributor but this is distributor less model.
Again, I am greatly appreciated.
