I have finished this seemingly never ending project and now I feel I made a mistake somewhere.
Alarm/remote start on a 2002 Galant. Everything works fine but now the flickers and winsheild wipers don't always work. The problem is intermitent. There is one plug on the steering column that disconects all of these actions. I have fiddled with this plug a lot and I can't seem to find anything lose or wrong with it. We fianlly sent the car to the dealer to see if they could locate the issue. They said it probably had something to do with the install but only suggested a line voltage problem. I did not connect to anything that would be related to these items except the parking light output, which doesn't lead me to beleive it is a voltage issue. The unit I intalled is "CRIMESTOPPER 2011" which I bought from an online store that I have been very happy with in the past.
If anyone has worked on a similar car or has any suggestions please respond.

Really some help on this one.
The dealership is saying that I have to take the whole sys. out because some cars just aren't able to take the extra current from the remote start.
Are there someplaces that I could use a resistor that might be unusual but helpful in this case?

Try taking the fuse out of the installed system and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away with the removal of the fuse, then you know it's related tot he alarm/RS installation. If the problem persists, you will need to take the system apart wire by wire until the problem stops. Trial and error.
