2002 tahoe, alarm, remote start

Ok, I started the install on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. It has been a pita. I purchased a DBALL bypass module and a XK09 module because they were cheap and I didnt know which one to use. I also purchased a Clifford 2.2X remote start/alarm. I started off by downloading all the install manuals and tech sheets that i could find. Reading about a install info i could find. I started by installing the Bypass module first. Then when onto the alarm and remote start. When I got to the point that I needed to setup the bypass nothing worked. I got the bypass lights on and in the right mode. Turned the ignition on and put the truck in to D. Nothing to change the lights to green. So now im stuck. I pulled everything out for the night. I cannot figure out the instructions for installing the remote start. I think that might be part of the problem. The instructions tell me to hook wires up for the starter input and output. I have not found anywhere that tells me what wires those are and also the ignition input and output. I need help Thanks Colton

First question:  Which bypass module did you choose to use?  Sounds like the DB-ALL.  The XK09 only does the Passlock2, while the DB-ALL will do that and more.

Second question:  Did you verify that the correct firmware is flashed on the module(s)?  The XK09 should have 9.PLXR Ver3.03 and the DB-ALL should have 401.GM5 Ver1.06.

Third question:  Are you connecting the bypass module to the Clifford in D2D or W2W mode? 

Last suggestion:  Might be a good idea to list your Clifford wiring and the bypass wiring connections.

I have not checked the firmware on the DBALL.  I am connecting to the clifford D2D.  I installed the DBALL per the instructions off there site using the OBDII #2 wire and the violet/green-Violet/Brown to the Yellow ignition wire (I used the small one.  There were 2 on that went to the plug abovethe factory box and the other one went to the fuse panel.

I am looking for the wiring to flash the DBALL but i have need un able to find one.  Any help?

The DB-ALL requires the XKLoader2 USB cable for firmware flashing.  Here are some instructions and the VIP program for the process:    http://www.xpresskit.com/XpressVIP4.aspx  The XKLoader2 cable is available  at "online" places for about $30.  (You might be able to get a local install shop to flash it for you.)

Not familiar with the Clifford unit, but if there are D2D bypass jumpers on the side, they should be in the Horizontal posistion to support the D2D connection with the external DB-ALL bypass module.

DB-ALL install Type 6 pretty much lists all the connections.

Bro I'm sorry to say but u should of got another Module I hate the DBALL I jut had a huge dispute with there technical support due to the fact that half there listing of cars the module is conpatiable with are not able to work with it and i discovered for them due to me working on the vehicle for 2 week's that the module doesn't workj with a 2002 ford sport trac that they list and they are falsly advertising there product
