Customer has a Clifford Matrix RSIII alarm/RS combo in a vehicle he purchased, along with a 478V/P/C remote that as far as I can tell is the correct one for this system.
Remote's apparently not communicating with the alarm control module, which has power and goes into valet mode so it's probably OK.
Anyone have the following, in order of awesomeness if you do?
1. PDF manual for this unit. Not yet in the downloads section here.
2. Programming instructions for this remote to this alarm.
3. Other helpful advice
Thanks in advance!

Ok, second question regarding the same car. Anyone able to verify that the 479V is backwards compatible with this, or the Viper 790XV?
The remote transmitter was the problem in this case - there are 2 separate PC boards in the transmitter, and the pins on the connector that goes between them had come un-soldered.

Based on DEI's transmitter look up tool, the 479 will work. key on, push release push and hold valet button, siren chirps,  press lock button, siren chirps again. you're now programmed

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
What I meant to ask was more along the lines of "Has anyone actually programmed a 479V to an alarm that originally came with a 478?"

Well, being that DEI doesn't sell the 478 remote anymore and have the 479 as its direct replacement, I would be confident that it will work. But to answer your question, no I haven't actually done it.
