Hey guys. I have a 2006 mitsubishi galant, and i had a local dealer install a Scytek Galaxy Mobile 5000. He says that the trunk can't be opened with the remote (which is BS, because the factory remote does it just fine).
What do i need to do or look at having done to get it working?
Factory remote has trunk button (that works)
Interior has lever to open trunk
If there is any more info that is needed, let me know make my trunk button work -- posted image.

Use a 5 pin Bosch/Tycho relay, all auto parts stores or Radio Shack as follows:-
Cut the GREEN / WHITE.
ETACS side to 87a.
Trunk side to 30.
12v+ constant, fused 15 amp to 86 and 87.
Grey wire to 85.
Place a 1N4004 diode, Radio Shack, in line on the grey with the band away from the relay to protect things.

You need a 5 PIN Bosch relay. Radio shack only has 4 Pin Relays. I briefly looked at autozone's relay the other day and it only had 4 pins too.(unless they had another one someplace else). Best bet, run into your local stereo shop and ask for one. Just make sure it has 5 Pins on it.
