viper 4203v 2008 civic

I plan to purchase the Viper 4203V Remote Start for a 2008 Civic. The car key already has lock and unlock functions on it so I don't need the redundant features of a different model remote start.

says that the doors remain unlocked while running, which is what I want. Can anyone confirm this because I have read conflicting posts.
For an immobilizer, I am looking at this:

Is this the correct one and does it need to be programmed like others?
Is there anything I am missing? It appears I just need these two products to have a successful installation.

Honda factory remote keyless entry FOBs stop working when the engine is running.  Confirm this by getting in the car, lock it  & start it.  Then, with the other key FOB, try to unlock the car with the button.  It shouldn't unlock.  That is why you need a R/S with Keyless Entry for that car.

It would recommend using a PKALL or PKH34 bypass module.  You won't lose a key under the dash and have a safer more reliable bypass.

I see what you are saying. However, the website says the doors remain unlocked when the engine is started.
So the bypass I suggested requires a key be left in it while the others do not?

Yes, the DEI 556UW bypass module is a "key in the box" style module.  Beside losing an expensive key under the dash, you compromise the vehicles security.  A 556UW costs about $15 (plus the key) while a PKH34 is about $25.

The Viper 4203v R/S does have the capability of unlocking the vehicles doors (only) while the car is running under remote start.

Actually, what it the 4203V website is saying is that even though it is only a 1 button remote start, you can wire it up to unlock the doors while the car is running. The doors will remain in the state they were in before the remote start was activated. If the doors were originally locked the factory keyfob would no longer operate to unlock them. Actually, the factory keyfob won't do anything(lock, unlock, or trunk) while the car is running. But, you can give the start button on the 4203V a second push while the car is remote started and the 4203V will unlock the door for you. It cannot relock or pop the trunk however. It will only unlock.
As for a bypass, I second the PKH34. I use it all the time on Honda's and they are pretty cheap on Ebay. Its an easy one wire connection to the car and you don't have to give up a key. A key cut and programmed is very expensive from Honda... Also, the one wire connection is up at the steering column, same area as the ignition wires you have to connect to anyway.
