So I'm about to install a new alarm into my wifes car. Right now, she has a generic alarm that is pretty straight forward replacement, but it has two wires that are hot all the time that I dont understand what there going to. I thought it went to dome light , but neither go to dome light. One wire is going to a orange wire with silver dots under the steering column and the other just looks like its going to a dark blue wire on the passenger side fuse block...Anyone know what this is?

Anyways, what I am installing is the viper 1600xp with remote start.

The 555h module for the remote start

(2)530T window modules.

The wiring diagram that I have found is telling me that the orange wire goes to the trunk release, but this has manual release. Can anyone do me a favor and get me a directech.com screen print of this install on this vehicle? Or, by chance lend me the access to this website?

Any help is apprectiated. 1600xp in a 2002 accord -- posted image.

I will try to help you a little bit. The orange wire next to the steering wheel should be your trunk trigger NOT trunk release. You are correct in thinking that there is no "trunk release" wire in that car. The orange wire will go to ground when the trunk is open. test with a Voltmeter to see if it goes to ground when you open the trunk...
If there is only one wire going to the passenger side fuse box, then most likely you have an Accord LX. That wire is for the door trigger. It goes to ground anytime any of the doors are open. This wire should be black with a white strip. Test with a Voltmeter to see if it goes to ground when you open a door...
You haven't asked, but doorlocks if its an Accord EX are at that passenger side fusebox. same area as the door trigger, just a different plug. If its an LX, the the doorlocks are at the drivers side fuse box in a 2 pin plug that is not plugged into anything. Its just taped up to another harness near the drivers side fusebox. Here is a link to your cars wiring, there is a note about the doorlocks.

555H I cannot help you with, I used to use a PKH2 in that car by xpresskit.com Its old and discontinued, but worked very well for me.
530T, I've never done in that car, so I can't help you with that either except to list the wire colors:
Left Front Window (Up/Down)     RED / yel - RED / blu     A     drivers door switch
Right Front Window (Up/Down)     blu/wht - blu/yel     A     RF window switch
Left Rear Window (Up/Down)     RED / yel - RED / blu     A     LR window switch
Right Rear Window (Up/Down)     RED / yel - RED / blu     A     RR window switch
Hopefully this helps you out.

Yes, This does seem to help. And yes, It is a LX model. I will re-check the wires. I thought I did check the wire going to the passenger side with the door open and closed, but I will recheck.

Thank you on the door wires also. All help is appreciated. 1600xp in a 2002 accord -- posted image.
