I just installed a alarm remote start in my MDX and everything works fine except the LED status light is constantly on. I have installed hundreds of pythons and vipers but that was over four years ago and now they seem to have a lot more programming and few more features. Anyways the main issue with this install I have is the status light constantly staying on. It is the light that is on the antenna. Actually, when I initially installed it, the LED light would be on with dome light but I uninstalled the done light supervision because the car factory dome light works unlocking and locking the alarm. Any inputs please help.
P.S. it isn't in valet mode

I can't really help you, but I do know that there have been quite a few people on here with the same issue. I don't know if anyone ever found a solution or not. Do a search on here and see if you can't find a few of the threads... hopefully one of them will have your answer.

if you are using a bypass d2d, and one of the triggers (most likely hood) has a defective factory hood pin, it will ground out constantly. it will still remote start, but will cause a "fault" indicated on the constant led. and are you 100% sure it is not in valet mode?

Yes. I have switch between valet and valet off with remote and the control button on antenna.
Next question, I can't seem to figure out factory disarm. I don't know if there is something I'm not doing with programming the 991 or if it is really slow but I can seem to get it to disarm factory alarm. There use to be a clarion remote start which has all the same wiring and disarm was connected so when I connected the 991 it doesn't disarm the factory quick enough or something. I also tried adding a relay like the manual suggest but still the factory alarm doesn't disarm before the 991. I also programmed it to disarm before unlocking on the 991. Any suggestions

No it has a 556uw and no hood pin, trunk pin or anything connected. I actually haven't even connected the shock sensor because I was waiting on that last. Do you think that will cause the constant light. Did I mention that when I had dome light supervision connected before it led would come on constantly with the dome light so every time the doors open, the led would stay on constantly and with the door closed the led would be off then would blink with the alarm engaged.
I don't know why I am having such a hard time since it already had a remote start before and I use to install these and never had a problem before. Maybe I should have started from scratch or maybe being out of the game so long you lose your touch.

you might have a faulty brain. the disarm is in the passenger kick panel fuse box. located where the lock/unlock wires are.
i would say rip it all out and start again.
