python 5704 not working

Ok I installed my Python unit today in my 2013 Mustang GT and it looked like everything was working but after about 10 min the remote stop receiving a signal from my car. At first I thought it was the antenna transmitter but I took it out and put it on my buddies car who has a 5901 Viper and it seemed to work on his alarm. Then I started thinking it was the cable. But that's kind of rare. I also notice that my trunk wouldn't pop open nor would my door locks with the brain attached to it. Even if I took out the fuse. As soon as I disconnected the physical cables (I used posi-taps) from my SJB then they started functioning again. But then I attached it to them again and same issue. Is this something to do with my brain or wiring?
