I have a 2012 Tacoma and the dealer installed a Viper 4103xv remote start on the truck
I have been looking for an install manual for the system so I can setup the options to my preferences.
This is the closest I have found
http://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/IG/Avital/N4103_2008-07_web.pdf
The remote start and keyless entry work correctly.
I have changed a few options myself that are working
Menu 1 Feature 1 horn honk pulse. To notify me when the doors are locked/ unlocked is working
Menu 1 Feature 5 unlock output to 2 pulses. Unlocks all the doors with one push is working
The features I am trying to get working that are not are:
Menu 1 Feature 2&3 ignition controlled lock/unlock. I turned it on but the doors don't lock or unlock
Menu 1 Feature 9 comfort control. I turned this on too but the windows do not roll up.
I am assuming there are more wires the dealer did not attach OR I just have the wrong manual and the options are diffrent.
Thank you for any help.

On the windows option, I have discovered that I need a 529t ot 530t to make this work.
I still want the ignition door locks to work however.

Ignition Door Lock/Unlock, see if a shop has a bit-writer. . Most will do it for cheap/a tip. Have the brain accesible to them when you arrive. Think we need a" are you sure you want to delete this item " warning... 2012 tacoma and viper 4103xv -- posted image. There is an option to lock-out settings unless you have a Bit-Writer.

If individual settings can be locked out, i'm un-aware. These are the only features i know that can be "locked out".
➢ Owner recognition
Owner recognition is a revolutionary feature available only from Directed. Using the Directed Bitwriter you can program different settings for
each transmitter used with the system. Then, when a specific transmitter
is used the settings assigned to it are recalled. Up to four users may
have settings to meet their specific needs. It is almost like having four
separate alarms in the vehicle, one for each user.
When using Owner recognition with the Bitwriter the following are the
only applicable features:
•      Horn function
•      Ignition locking
•      Ignition unlocking
•      Activation pulses for remote start
Important: Owner recognition cannot be programmed without a
Bitwriter and the necessary software.
You are turning On settings 2 & 3 in Menu 1?
Here is the desription for Comfort Closure:
9 COMFORT CLOSURE—OFF (1): The system can be programmed to
close the windows when the system is locked. If programmed ON, the
lock output provides a 20 second pulse when the system is locked. The
output will be cancelled if the unlock button is pressed. In the Off setting
the system will not do this function. (2) Comfort closure 1 - Activates the 20
second timer after the door lock pulse. (3) Comfort Closure 2 - Activates
the 20 second timer with the door lock pulse.
