2007 honda civic lx alarm/remote start

Hi i was hoping someone out there would have a pictorial of a alarm/remote start installation. Im looking to install a viper 5204 with either a xpresskit PKH34 or with a DEI 556UW. I have the viper alarm/rs but haven't made up my mind on which bypass I want. This will be my first install so any advice will help...... I know people will tell me to have a professional install it, but I have done pretty much everything to a car/truck so this would be a great thing to learn thank you

Check the archives on that vehicle, I believe there were recent posts or go to the Vehicle Wiring section on this site. You really only need a 556U.

Go with the PKH34.  Fairly inexpensive and no lost key under the dash.

On this install will the pkh34 be my best choice over other xpresskits like the PKALL or dball? I have never used an module like them I always bought 566u mostly due to a cost budget. Also do you know if it matters if the car has a factory alarm? I really hope this install to go smoothly

Ref: Factory alarm look at those wonderful photos, the answer's there. If you look carefully and absorb what other posters are telling you this job will go far more smoothly.

The Civic is a pretty basic / easy car to do.  If you are looking to save money, go with the PKH34.  Hardwire the locks and alarm and go W2W with the bypass module.

Test for a Factory Alarm by opening the drivers window and with the drivers door open press the lock button.  Close the door and wait 2 minutes.  Then reach in the open window and open the door with the handle.  If the horn beeps...

The PKH34 can be had for less than $25.  There are other modules that are similar and some that do more but the PKH34 is reliable and easy to program.

Shouldn't the PKH34 take control of the factory alarm? Either that or the photos show you how.

Nope, the PKH34 only does the transponder  bypass.  The alarm wires are at back of the fuse box.Soldering is fun!
