Hey all,
I plan on installing my RS viper 5501 with an Idatalink bypass in 2004 Pontiac grand prix but I seem to be stumped... I have the wiring diagrams.
However I am confused on the heavy gauge 8 pin connector on the viper harness.
H3/1 pink to ?
H3/2 Red white to ?
h3/3 Orange to climate control
h3/4 violet to starter wire
h3/5 red to ?
h3/6 pink/white to?
h3/7 pink/black to?
h3/8 RED / black to ?
I am pretty sure I know where to connect all the of the other wires in the other harnesses.
I have read there are 2 pink ignition wire also? is there an easy way to figure out if you have the right one?
Thank you in advance

NOTE #1: there are (2) PINK (+) wires that test as an Ignition wire, to test for the correct PINK IGNITION wire. Place the Key in the Ignition Switch but do not turn to the ON position. Try the remote starter, if the KEY in the IGNITION CHIME turns on, you are energizing the correct PINK Ignition wire.

H3/2, 5, and 8 go to constant 12 volt power source along with the red power wire from the H1 harness, H1/2 I believe.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

thanks.
How about the pink wires,
H3/1 to cars pink wire
so being this car only has one ignition wire I should only have to hook up the h3/1?
the h3/6,7 are unused? correct me if I am wrong.
