I am going crazy here... can someone please tell me if there is something special I need to do to add a remote to my Matrix 10.5?
I could not get it to work... so I used a Bitwriter to zap the brain, I still cannot program new units. The brain is not locked to new remotes, I just cannot get it to work no matter what.
I turn on ignition, press the valet 7 times, press and hold. I hear 7 beeps. I push lock on the remote. I hear a beep. Turn off ignition.. and the remote doesn't work. The remote I am using is one that worked perfectly before I zapped the brain so I know it is the right remote...
Can anyone please give me some clues?? Anything I could be missing somewhere? Is there a jumper or something I need to jump?
Please help thank you!!!!

I found out what I was doing wrong. I found the install manual for the 10.5x, I was only supposed to press the valet once then hold, then press the alarm button two separate times to confirm it.
Now it works!
