Hello all.
I have 2 questions really, the first is based on a relay diagram you already have on the site.
I have the vacuum operated locks on my 126 S-Class Mercedes and want to add an internal switch to lock and unlock from inside, there is a diagram in general for this but as a novice I do not know how to incorporate a timer as mine needs 3 seconds I believe could someone assist with this please.
My second question is potentially more exciting in as much as I have been asked by a film co to construct a revolving number plate similar to that of the James Bond AM DB5. The plate will be triangular as it will have 3 alternate plates rolling on a centre pivot
What I would like to do is press a button in the cab and have the plate turn its 110degrees to the next and stop.
My way of thinking was a dual relay system with micro switch running on a cam to a stop position but able to do this continually without having to reset anything.
So one press of the switch rolls the plate to the next.
I thank you in advance for your assistance

What type of switch(s) are you looking for in the Mercedes? A momentary switch for lock and a momentary switch for unlock (two separate switches) or one momentary switch that locks and unlocks the door? How many switches?

Sorry it took me so long, I've been busy at work.
This is what you are going to need:
-(2) 30/40A SPDT Relays
-(1) On-Off-On Mometary Rocker Switch
-(2) DEI 528T Timers...(Here's a link for the DEI 528T)
-fuses, solder, electric tapes, shrink wrap, etc., etc.
