Hi allautostart as 6880tws, ads al ca, 2007 ram -- posted image.
Hope everyone had a good rest on the holidays.
As stated in the subject line, i am installing an Autostart AS-6880tws with an ADS-AL-CA flashed DBI into a 2007 Ram 1500. I am using Idatalink's type 3 install diagram in DBI-AL(DL)-CH5-EN guide. i can't find the wiring diagram for the as-6880tws anywhere online and am still trying to verify that its the same as the as-6870tw-fm as i have done several of those.
My question is about the Idatalink's type 3 install diagram which shows an   ignition output on the ads module diode isolated feeding 2 ignition inputs, one on the ads module itself and one on the remote starter. There is no ignition input on the remote starter so Im not sure what to do here. I haven't come across anything labeled "ignition input" on anything yet and i don't really understand the purpose of this particular circuit. If i understand correctly, normally the RS supplys power to the IGN circuit through its IGN 1 and sometimes IGN 2 wires. The RS will "see" if the vehicle is running from a Tach signal or through system voltage. So I'm confused as to why the ads module is supplying the ign ouput back to the rs, and as well back to itself and how to connect without the IGN input on the RS.
I hope someone can help me through this as i would like to understand this better.autostart as 6880tws, ads al ca, 2007 ram -- posted image.
Thanks to all who can help!

The IGN1 of the remote start is an input as well as an output. the truck has a low current ignition which is why it needs to be done this way

Thank you VERY much blanx218. I don't like guessing or assuming. I have found vague references that older units used to have an external ign input but for its all done internally now so ign 1 is an input as well. But I couldn't find anything definitive, so Thank You very much again for taking the time to help!
