alarm help/questions

1. Alright i'm confused if the alarm come with a door lock outputs both negatives and your car door lock wire are both neg for locking and unlocking don't you just tap the correct wires in.

2. Alright what i'm confused is that i've seen alarm with a negative and positive outputs for locking and unlocking door outputs if the car  locking is both positive or both negative so than what up don't you use a relay or something.

It is an either or situation. They are either positive or negative, not both.

1.so your saying that i would never find an alarm system that matches up my door locking system is that correct.

2. So if the door lock outputs on the alarm is one pos and one neg and my door locking system is both neg than what do i do, i go to use a relay or what.

Oh guys i got it now my car locking system is neg and an alarm system come with a pos and neg wire so i grab the neg wire and and tape up the positive wire on the end and just tap the negative wire in on both of the car locking and unlocking wire thanks guys.
