I've installed a CM900S in a 67 Chevy pickup with an LS EFI engine, push button start, etc. Very basic, analog ignition/starting system. The only thing that is odd from a typical keyed ignition (which is still there) is the amp load of the truck required a Bosch high amp relay on the ignition circuit. This relay is triggered by power from the ignition switch and the push button start system as well.
I've been fighting the remote start, it goes through the start sequence, fires and comes to idle then shuts off. I've programmed the tach signal multiple times, verified a changing voltage with rpm level and even tried "assumed start" mode. It shuts off immediately after the 2 way fob gets the confirmed start notification. During the start sequence, it flashes the park lights twice, sends confirmation, shuts off and flashes one more time. It acts like the system may be getting over loaded or something. I disconnected the anti-grind relay to make sure its not back feeding voltage to the unit with no change. I used the IGN1 wire to trigger the Ignition relay then used IGN2 to go to tie into the ignition wire coming directly off the ignition switch.
I've installed multiple CMX systems in classic cars like this with no issue but was talked into the CM900 to save some money and its been a fight.
I hope someone can help, I do have the OP500 for programming if needed.
Thank you....help!

Strange that the "Assumed Start" doesn't work.
You might want to run R/S Shutdown Diags to see the exact error.
Remote Start Shutdown Error Codes
If the remote start sequence has been completed and the vehicle shuts down, the vehicle’s parking lights will flash 4 times, pause then flash again with the error code. Tap button 4 on 2 Way remotes to initiate the shutdown error codes. On 1 Way remotes hold the Trunk and Start buttons together for 2.5 seconds.
Number of
Parking Light FlashesRemote Start Shutdown Error
1            Lost engine sensing signal (Tach/Alternator/Tachless)
2            Lost emergency brake signal (Manual Transmission)
3            Foot brake triggered
4            Hood pin triggered
The CM900-s IGN1 must see the actual vehicle Ignition circuit. It is an Output and an Input wire. Depending on how you have it connected (added Bosch relay control or actual vehicle ignition), it could be an issue.
Another possibility could be if the Brake Pedal has to be depressed for a normal PTS button start, how is the R/S wired to control this?
Soldering is fun!

I just verified wiring. The Green Ign wire is wired directly to the Ignition switch and the Blue programmable wire is connected to the output of the Bosch Relay. The relay is really only used by the PTS to keep from overloading the module. Anything connected to the ignition switch should effectively work like there is no PTS system at all. The brake switch isn't required for the PTS to start the truck.
Another issue is I'm unable to get the error codes to report and its flashing the 2 way remote like its running with no voltage output on the module itself.

Anyone have an more thoughts before I rip this system out and switch to a CMX?
