Whats up everyone, i just got around to installing this remote start alarm compustar CM7900-AS ON MY 04 Dodge dakota. Everything works great so far the only problem im having is about 3 minutes after arming the alarm it will false alarm saying the doors have been triggered. This truck has seperate doorpins(negative trigger)for driver and passenger doors and i have them diode isolated.
Im assuming the truck is sending some pulses through the wires to monitor the status of the doors and its triggering the alarm. My question is how do i filter this signal so it doesnt false alarm. I know i can use the dome light but id rather use the doorpins since the domelight has a delay to turn off.
I know ive installed alarms on plenty of dakotas and durangos and dont remember this being a problem but that was a long time ago too.
Appreciate any advice you can give me.

If you didn't cut the factory door trigger wires and install diodes that's your issue, see here:
